– A Practice of Embodied Presence

Many traditional wellness practices teach us to move with intention and listen to the body’s subtle messages. Disciplines like Iyengar or Yin Yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, slow dancing movement, and Pilates help us cultivate body awareness, calm, and grounding.

Born from years of in-person practice inspired by these modalities, Body Feel is a unique somatic experience designed to deepen awareness and support the simple joy of being in your body. Body feel connects beautifully with 9 steps to inner peace addressing the Prioritizing your needs and connection to body steps.

What is Body Feel?

Body Feel blends mindful movement and conscious attention.

It weaves together:

  • Yin Yoga: softening, using gravity, not pushing
  • Qi Gong: precision in foot placement and connection with Earth
  • Pilates: awareness of core and pelvic activation
  • Gentle stretching: especially through the hips
  • Slow expressive movement inspired by dance

Through guided awareness and subtle exploration, Body Feel invites you to notice how micro-movements and energetic shifts affect your breath, ease, and alignment.

Principles of Body Feel

  1. Let Be

Begin with simple noticing. What do you feel in your body right now?
We welcome whatever arises — sensation, emotion, or quiet — without forcing change.

  1. Stay Connected to Earth

Ground through your feet. Notice if your toes lift or if your weight falls to the inner or outer edge.
Readjust to connect through the whole sole.

  1. Precision

Small changes can bring big shifts. Tune into micro-movements and feel how they shape your comfort, alignment, and breath.
We practice underdoing — less effort, more awareness.

  1. Gentleness

Move with ease. Notice when you strain and return to softness. We cultivate effortless effort — strength without tension.

  1. Letting Go

Become aware of where you hold on. Set the intention to release unnecessary tension and allow the body to unwind.
